We Won!

Ca’ Pietra’s Whole Home Transformation of the Year Award

We’re thrilled to share that our studio has been awarded Whole Home Transformation of the Year at the 2025 Ca’ Pietra Design Awards for our complete renovation of a country house in the Surrey Hills.

Presented by Ca’ Pietra, a leading name in luxury stone and tile design, the award was created…

“…to recognise a project that demonstrates design excellence throughout, where every space tells part of a cohesive story through materiality and craft”.

The judges were all highly respected individuals from the industry, so it was an honour to receive their endorsement: Ben Spriggs, Elle Decoration Editor-in-Chief; Jessica Doyle, The Telegraph Design & Interiors Editor and Lewis Malpas, Mr Porter Creative Director.

On presenting the award, Grazzie Wilson from Ca Pietra said the project had been recognised for…

“…its sensitive and cohesive restoration of an English country house and estate in the Surrey Hills. The judges said that it showcased texture, warmth and authenticity in the home…”

The project involved a complete redesign of the layout and interiors, creating a more cohesive flow between spaces and a stronger sense of identity throughout the home.

Materials played a central role in the transformation. Working with Ca’ Pietra’s stone and tile collections, we layered texture, tone and pattern across key areas of the house, from kitchen and bathrooms to fireplaces and flooring, using materials to anchor each space while ensuring the house felt unified as a whole. Careful detailing and consistent design allowed each room to have its own personality without losing sight of the wider vision.

Ca Pietra’s Costa Smeralda granite was chosen for the worktops, Carrara C honed marble for the antique scrub table and Hazlebury Limestone in a seasoned finish for the floors.
