Katie Williams

Katie Williams began her journey to interior design with a degree in Fine Art at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, which led her to the prestigious KLC Design School, where she completed a Diploma in Interior Design. Her studies led her to a career in London working alongside industry luminaries such as David Oliver at Paint & Paper Library, Lady Henrietta Spencer-Churchill, Sue Timney, and Nicholas Herbert.

Six years later she moved to Hampshire where she opened The Kave, a much-loved design shop in the pretty market town of Stockbridge. Katie’s head for numbers and experience with running the P&L and stock of her beautiful shop means Katie is the perfect person to be in charge of the finance and operations of Alexandra Young Design.
