Hampshire Pool House
Set within the stunning grounds of a beautiful listed family home in Hampshire, we designed this pool house and its interior with long summer days in mind. The brief was to include clever storage to hide away outdoor toys, equipment and outdoor furniture cushions, and to provide a small kitchen area and a changing room.
We set about with a potting-shed and beekeeper aesthetic in mind, using natural finishes including a Portland stone floor, timber clad walls and the softest of yellow paint colours – Beeswax by Paint and Paper Library. Fabrics on the changing room door, the window and under the sink help to bring a timeless feel and softens the practical, hard finishes.
We are thrilled with the result and have already heard of the joy that the space is bringing to the client, their family and a host of friends.
